And so the party starts...!!!

[leavers' camp tomolow! SO EXCITED! probs cant sleep tonight.. =P=P... ah wellz... gonna hav good company and tonnes of fun! damn i can't wait! hui hui]

Tick, tick, tick... "Please stop work now."

Were those words the greatest music to my ears! Tuesday afternoon, 5.10pm marked the end of my TEE exams. Even though it was 5 days after when most people finished, even though we had to travel all the way to Canning College to take the exam, even though the room was filled with people from all over this district... we were all freed at the same time, by the same person, in the same room. Despite being teased endlessly before this exam took place, the days passed by quite quickly without much pain- nothing matters anymore, what matters now is that, we've done it.

The whole year's preparation for this short period of 3 weeks played its part; and sadly, will very soon be forgotten by the relieved everyone of us. People say that a lot of weight have been lifted from their shoulders, less expectations will now hold- everyday is a light and refreshing breeze, blowing directionless, purposeless, careless. With the many of us going to Leavers' Camp, the home town shall be slightly less polluted by noise, joyous screems, disco music. We will all soon be back though, to then pursue somewhat more purposeful conquests- of working the odd jobs for that oh-so-important pocket money; of cleaning out one's room as the mother's continuous nagging is quite intolerable; of finding a long lost interest back and repairing the damage.

The most stressful year of one's life- I have experienced it. Leaving the institute that one has been with for the past 5 years- I am experiencing it. Giving up time, emotions, thoughts for that one sole purpose- I have and will continue to experience it.

School is out!
